NASA/AFRC requires upgrading Ground Recording System (GRS) units from version 1 to version 2, including calibration, chassis upgrades, and hardware inspection and repair. NASA/AFRC intends to issue a sole-source contract to Crystal Instruments Corporation under FAR 6.103-1 (only one responsible source) and to acquire the effort as a commercial product or service under FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit capabilities and qualifications electronically to Jamill Richter and Tanjanica Jackson; those responses will be evaluated solely to determine whether to conduct the acquisition competitively, with the final decision at the Government’s discretion.
