32-Channel Load Control System with Controlled Load Abort Capability
NASA AFRC requires a 32-channel closed-loop servo-hydraulic load control system with an independent Controlled Load Abort System (CLAS) using Controlled Load Abort Manifolds (CLAMs) to support structural ground testing of aerospace components and full-scale assemblies. The agency intends to award a sole source contract to Moog Inc., as only Moog’s system is software-compatible with the legacy platform and meets the required controlled load abort capability. A time-sensitive, high-priority project at the Flight Loads Laboratory within the next two years needs this system. Performance will be at NASA AFRC. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications for evaluation to determine whether a competitive acquisition is feasible.
