THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. NO PROPOSALS ARE TO BE SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) is seeking capability statements from all interested parties, including Small, Small Disadvantaged (SDB), 8(a), Woman-owned (WOSB), Veteran Owned (VOSB), Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) businesses, and Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU)/Minority Institutions (MI) for the purposes of determining the appropriate level of competition for Two (2) Continuous Jet Start Units. A copy of the Specifications is attached to this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is NAICS Code is 333611 – Turbine and Turbine Generator Set Unit Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1,500 employees. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in the Beta Sam website (www.fbo.gov). It is the potential offeror’s responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. This sources sought notice is for information and planning purposes only. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. All responses shall be submitted electronically (via email) to the primary and secondary Points of Contact no later than February 25, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. PDT.
