This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotation under solicitation number 80AFRC21Q0011 for TLD Lebrun GF40 Trailer Mounted Diesel Air Conditioning; Engine Model Tier 4F Only, Brand Name or Equal. To be considered equal, the salient characteristics of alternatives must have equivalent or better of those listed on the specification sheet. The solicitation is attached. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 333415 and 1,250 employees, respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this acquisition. It is the offeror’s responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any). Potential offeror’s will be responsible for downloading their own copy of this notice, the on-line RFQ and amendments (if any). Offers for the item(s) or services described above are due no later than 12:00 p.m. PDT on September 27, 2021 to Robbin Kessler and Eleonor Barron, via email at Robbin.m.kessler@nasa.gov , Eleonor.barron@nasa.gov and must include solicitation number, FOB destination to NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) 2825 East Ave P, Building 703 Palmdale, CA 93550, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable, taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. This RFQ is not an order and shall not be construed as an authorization to proceed with any of the work called for in this solicitation. This RFQ does not commit the Government to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of the submission of this quotation or for proposed supplies or services. All responsible scoures may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The purpose of Amendment No. 1 to the combined synopsis/solicitation 80AFRC21Q0011 is to provide technical clarification for the TLD Lebrun GF40 Trailer Mounted Diesel Air Conditioning unit in partiular the type of aircraft it will be used for. Companies shall acknowledge receipt of all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/solicitation and a written amendment will not be issued.
