The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)-Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) is interested in obtaining information to identify potential commercial capabilities for Microgravity Flight Services (MFS) to provide brief periods of near zero, partial gravity, and hyper-gravity conditions, collectively referred to here as microgravity, and associated capabilities for payload integration, safety, and airworthiness for various Government research, technology development, and training missions. Details of the requirements for the Microgravity Flight Services (MFS_Requirements.pdf) are included. Interested offerors/vendors having the required specialized capabilities to meet the requirement should submit a capability statement indicating the ability to perform all aspects of the effort described herein. VIRTUAL INDUSTRY DAY A virtual Industry Day (via WebEx and dial-in telecon) will be held from 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm (PDT) on May 05, 2020. The requirements will be discussed, as well as any questions that may be submitted in advance. To attend the Industry Day, you must notify Andrea Basham andrea.c.basham@nasa.gov by April 29, 2020 and provide your company information and the main point of contact. You will be provided with WebEx and dial-in access information once we have your company data. Please reference 80AFRC20SS015 Industry Day in email subject line. Please submit all questions to Andrea Basham andrea.c.basham@nasa.gov by April 29, 2020 so they can be addressed during Industry Day referencing 80AFRC20SS015. During Industry Day, the questions period will re-open. Answers to all questions will be posted via an amendment to the RFI notice. Any questions received after May 19, 2020 may not be answered before the RFI submission date. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY to identify sources that can support NASA-AFRC Microgravity Flight Services. The information provided in the RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. NASA has not made a commitment to procure any of the items discussed, and release of this RFI should not be construed as such a commitment or as authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. This is for information purposes only to allow industry the opportunity to submit ideas and recommendations on the feasibility of utilizing external NASA sources to provide microgravity flight support and/or other services for the NASA mission. Interested parties who consider themselves qualified are invited to submit a response to this Sources Sought Notice by 4:00 pm (PDT) on June 9, 2020. All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must be emailed to Andrea Basham andrea.c.basham@nasa.gov. Please reference 80AFRC20SS015 in any response. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions. This data will not be shared outside the Government. The Government may use this data to refine requirements and develop a request for a proposal. Data submitted as part as part of industry response marked “Confidential Commercial or Financial Information" will be considered as voluntarily submitted in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act.
