MCC seeks up to three (3) individual consultants (“Consultants”) to assist the CDT in Jakarta and in priority provinces in undertaking various assignments aimed at developing relationships with the local governments, local working groups, and other local authorities, in order to accelerate the identification and preparation of potential compact projects in the three provinces. The specific tasks to be performed by the Consultants include but may not be limited to: Represent the CDT’s interests and assist the CDT on matters related to local government consultation and coordination. Identify and build close relationships with key stakeholders in the target provinces. Under the direction of the CDT, work closely with the local governments, assisting with: the development of potential compact activities and preparation for compact implementation; the development and implementation of communication strategies with local stakeholders to form positive opinions and develop support for the proposed compact; the organization of local public consultation activities and other local cross-sector forums related to the compact; and obtaining access to data and information required for the development of the compact. Undertake relevant administrative activities for the CDT in support of compact development in the local regions. Assist in the monitoring of various activities and issues related to the compact as relevant in the priority provinces. Provide regular reporting on region-specific inputs or matters related to the compact and proactively communicate with the CDT to ensure the preparation and development of the compact is in accordance with compact development guidance and timelines. Other tasks as assigned.
