The purpose of amendment 0001 is to provide responses to the questions received from industry related to 95332421Q0042. This statement of work is envisioned to focus on strategic support and some early assessment work. It is not intended to provide ongoing support throughout the life of a Compact. MCC will procure those services independently as it has in the past. Due date for quotes has been extended to Tuesday June 8, 2021 10:00 am eastern time. MCC’s strategic aim is to work with partner countries to achieve climate-resilient, low-carbon economic growth that manages and makes effective use of natural resources on a sustainable basis resulting in stronger communities. To that end, MCC seeks to strengthen the integration of climate considerations into its core business and update internal policies and practices to more fully embody our climate ambitions. The scope of this requirement is to implement the Agency’s Climate Change Strategy, strengthen MCC’s ability to institutionalize climate considerations, leverage opportunities to have high-impact climate smart growth, and fully meet relevant Executive Orders. The contractor shall provide support for climate change integration and for opportunities for MCC to build capacity, learn from experiences, and advance thought leadership. The contract may also be used to support specific country programming consistent with MCC’s overarching goal to reduce poverty by supporting low carbon, economic growth that is climate resilient, innovative, and consistent with our partner countries’ climate aspirations. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the tasks as defined in Section C of the Statement of Work.
