The Library's National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS/BPH), is seeking industry feedback and assistance refining the attached description for Search, Discovery and Playback of Audio Books for the Visually Impaired using Voice User Interface on Smart Speakers. Please see the attached RFI document. Note: This RFI is being issued solely as part of market research and planning being conducted by the Library and does not constitute a request for proposal or promise to issue a request for proposal in the future, and a RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service (see FAR 15.201(e) - Responses to these notices are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract). Response Submittal Instructions Response Due Date: Friday, May 3, 2019 12:00 PM, EST, via email to Holly Evan at heva@loc.gov. The email should include "NLS20190188 Smart Speakers" in the subject line. The maximum size of files allowed to come through the Library's email system is 20MB. If needed, you may send more than one email and ensure they are clearly identified. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, the Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this sources sought. All information received in response to this notice will not be returned.
