Amendment 1: The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions submitted from offerors as well as make amendments to section F and L in response to those questions. The offer submission deadline is not being extended at this time. - - - This is a combined synopsis/solicitation being issued under the authority of FAR 13.5. The scope of this contract is to acquire the expertise, resources, and capabilities, to review, verify, create and/or update of collections’ bibliographic (BREC), holdings (HREC), and item (IREC) records in the LC ILS or other designated database. This includes assigning collection storage locations and ensuring basic data control. The scope also entails that the Contractor prepare for onsite (Capitol Hill) and or offsite ((Library’s High Density Storage Facilities (HDSF) transfer a variety of collections in different formats (e.g., prints, photographs, maps, musical scores, books, periodicals, manuscripts, microforms). This supports the Retrospective Holdings Integrity Program for the Library of Congress' Preservation Directorate. Please see the attached documents for the solicitation and its attachments.
