The Library of Congress (Library) regularly hosts small to medium sized event panels consisting of up to 20 individuals. To support events of this type, the Multimedia Group (MMG) would deploy one of its full Audio Mix carts to accommodate these panels due to the number of microphones required. Meeting a requirement of 20 microphones requires pooling microphones from other audio mix carts—which limits the available inventory to support other programming. To ensure proper support for all events, and to create a single solution to support these small to medium size conferences, the Library requires a digital wireless conference/hearing system. The system design sought is a portable flight pack configuration for rapid deployment to various venues and secure storage when not in use. This solicitation is for the system only.
