*Amendment 0001 (5/8/22) - Posted to move back date for asking questions* *Amendment 0002 (5/15/22) - Posted to move proposal due date back* *Amendment 0003 (5/23/22) - Posted answers to questions/additional changes* *Amendment 0004 (6/6/22) - Posted answers to additional questions and provvide related documentation* The Library of Congress (Library) is an unparalleled world resource with a collection of more than 171 million items includes more than 40 million cataloged books and other print materials in 470 languages; more than 74 million manuscripts; the largest rare book collection in North America; and the world's largest collection of legal materials, films, maps, sheet music and sound recordings. The mission of the Library Collections & Services Group (LCSG) is to develop, acquire, organize, provide access to, maintain, secure, and preserve the Library's universal collections, which document the history and further the creativity of the American people. To that end, the Library of Congress (the “Library”) is looking for a Library Collections Access Platform (LCAP) to support centralized management of the entire lifecycle of the Library’s acquisitions, bibliographic control and cataloging, collections management, inventory and circulation, discovery, and researcher management needs while providing the greatest efficiency and value to the Library's operations. Instructions can be found in the below attached solicitation and attachments. All questions must be submitted by filling out Attachment J1 – Questions and emailing it to Sophie Chen at schen@loc.gov, with a copy to Michael Schuman at mschuman@loc.gov, no later than 5:00pm ET on May 13th, 2022. Proposals are due by the day and time listed above and in the header of the solictiation.
