Amendment 1 - The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions submitted by potential offerors, as well as make slight modifications to the solicitation based on those answers. Please see the two newly attached documents for these answers and changes. - - - - - - - - - The Library of Congress is seeking contractor support for maintenance services and repairs on personal fitness and gym/exercise equipment in four of its wellness centers (one in the Adams building, one in the Madison building [both of which are on Capitol Hill], one in DC on Taylor Street, and one in Culpeper, VA, at the NAVCC campus. The contractor shall perform 2 preventative maintenance visit, per location, per year. They shall also be available for as-needed repairs and have the ability to replace and install equipment should a machine be taken out of service (they are not responsible for replacing the machine). This is a FAR 13 competition, publically compete, and a best value trade off competition. Please see the attached solicitation documentation for more information.
