Due to this, the quotation submission deadline is extended to 01/17/2022 at 5PM Eastern Time. - - - Amendment 1: The purpose of Amendment 1 is to answer questions submitted by offerors as well as revise Section F. - - - The Library of Congress requires the use of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) within its warehouse and loading dock facilities to load and offload delivery trucks. There are currently six MHEs that are offline due to dead gel batteries. The Library requires Thin Plate Pure Lead batteries (TPPL) batteries and chargers to replace the dead gel batteries. This is a FAR Part 13, Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) competition. See the attached solicitation document for further information. Offers in response to this solicitation are due no later than 1/14/2022 at 5PM EST.
