No other changes to this solicitation are made as a result of this amendment. - - - - - - - - - - - - - Amendment 1: The purpose of this amendment is to answer the first round of questions recieved from potential offerors. No other changes to this solicitation are made as a result of this amendment. - - - - - - - - - - - - - This is a combined synopsis/solicitation being issued in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. The Library of Congress is seeking an Automated Materials Handling (AMH) system for use in the sortation of Library collection materials. Contractor shall design, install, and provide training and maintenance services of Library automated material handling (AMH) equipment which will be used to support the physical sortation of, and where appropriate, update of inventory data of Library collection material. The contractor shall manage all aspects of the planning, installation, and maintenance of the physical AMH equipment as well as the design, development, and maintenance of the software to operate it. The contractor shall provide spare parts and modular units to repair and expand the system or to place additional systems across the Library.
