The Library of Congress (LOC) Motion Picture Branch seeks contractor support to provide specialized digital audio restoration services for a 1942 motion picture sound track from the Library’s historic film collection. The Library anticipates the award of a single firm fixed price contract for the sound track restoration work. For full details, please see the Solicitation. Questions regarding the solicitation are due Wednesday, March 11th and proposals are due Wednesday, March 18th. Any changes to the deadlines will be posted to this site. In order to allow for irregular email transmission times, it is recommended that final proposals be submitted at least 30 minutes prior to the deadline. Late proposals will not be considered. - - - Amendment 1: Answers to Questions Recieved Written questions and final proposals should be sent via email to the contract specialist Gail MacFarquhar at gmac@loc.gov, with a cc to contracting officer James Robinson at jarobinson@loc.gov. - - - Amendment 2: Modification 1 to the solicitation - This modification extends the quote submission deadline to 03/30/2020. - - - Amendment 3: Replaces the first round of answers to questions with a revised version. - Provides a second round of answers to questions. Finally, provides a new modification to the solicitation to represent the answers provided in the questions and answers documents. Of particular note, the Library shall only be accepting sound restoration samples via thumb drive due to potential IT restrictions.
