The purpose of this requirement is to obtain full custod... This is a competitive 8(a) set-aside procurement for Housekeeping Services for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (The Center). The purpose of this requirement is to obtain full custodial services for both the Kennedy Center's main building and The REACH expansion, (known collectively as the Center) with the exception of the areas for Restaurant Associates (Restaurant Dining Areas, Kitchen, and Storage aeas). The Center has a total of approximately 423,000 square feet of cleanable floor space which includes six theaters, rehearsal and performance spaces, classroom space, multipurpose rooms, and administrative offices. The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, administrative support, materials, tools, parts, supplies and equipment necessary to perform all custodial services as described herein. These services shall include at a minimum the management, quality management, and task management of trash and recycling collection, dusting, vacuuming, theater cleaning, floor care, glass cleaning, documentation and reporting for monthly services as well as related optional supplemental services and optional auxiliary services at the Center. This contract’s period of performance includes a base period and four option years. The Goal of this contract is to obtain and maintain housekeeping services 24 hours per day, 365 days per year at the Center to ensure a clean and safe environment for patrons, visitors, and employees.
