Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (The Center) is a trust instrumentality of the U.S. Government and a living Presidential memorial. The Center fulfills its obligation as a living memorial to the late president through the presentation of performing arts programming and through education activities both in the District of Colombia and around the country. The largest cultural facility of its kind, it consists of 1.5 million square feet of usable floor space and is situated on 17 acres of land. It houses nine theaters, two public restaurants, nine function/special event rooms, five public galleries/halls/foyers, and approximately 50,000 square feet of administrative offices. It attracts over three million visitors annually. The facility is operated 365 days per year and support systems in the building often operate at a capacity in excess of 18 hours per day. This combined synopsis/solicitation is an unrestricted acquisition notice under NAICS Code 423690 for commercial products prepared in accordance with FAR Subparts 12.6 and FAR part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals/quotes; offers are being requested. The purpose of this requirement is to procure Harman Martin Lighting Equipment that is paramount to the successful operation of the JFKC. The center is welcoming quotes in order to award a Firm Fixed Price, Purchase Order to the contractor submitting the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable quote. Quotes submitted in response to this combined synopsis/ solicitation are due on Monday, November 21st, 2022 @ 2pm EST. Please complete the attached pricing table (Attachment 1, Section A.2) and fill in all applicable clauses. Incomplete quotes that do not address pricing for all line items requested in the included attachment &/ or late quotes may be deemed technically unacceptable.
