This combined synopsis/solicitation is a sole source acquisition notice for commercial items/commodities prepared in accordance with FAR Subparts 12.6 and FAR part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals/quotes; offers are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (JFKC), 2700 F Street, NW, Washington, DC 20566 intends to acquire contractor services for annual and quarterly preventative maintenance and emergency services on the diesel fire pump and emergency generator to maintain proper functionality. The period of performance anticipated is a base year with four one-year option periods. Preventative maintenance shall be in accordance with manufacturer’s guidelines and industry standards and in strict accordance with the Scope of Work (SOW). (If the SOW conflicts with manufacturer’s guidelines, the Manufacturer’s Guidelines prevails). The equipment for service is: Fire pump: Caterpillar model 3306, Serial Number: 064Z08245 and Generator: Caterpillar model 3412, Serial Number: 09EP00834. This acquisition is unrestricted. The solicitation reference number is 33310520Q0020 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-07, effective 7-2-2020. The NAICS code for the acquisition is 423810 - Construction and Mining (except Oil Well) Machinery and Equipment Merchant Wholesalers33718 and the size standard is 500 employees. This is a sole-source notice of intent to purchase PM services from to Carter Machinery Co, Inc., 50 Commerce Parkway, Fredericksburg, VA 22406-1037.
