Please go to: https://www.house.gov/doing-business-with-the-house and view under "Current Solicitations". All updates & amendments will be posted there. The CAO primarily provides support services to the House community, approximately 7,000 people, located in the U.S. Capitol and five House office buildings (Cannon, Longworth, Rayburn, Ford, and O’Neill). As such, the CAO provides several essential services on campus for Members and staff with varying, often long workdays, who are not able to utilize such services in their neighborhoods. The House operates in an environment with heavy work schedules and periods where the Members, and often key staff, periodically go back to their congressional districts for a week(s) to work directly with constituents. The current House Shoe Shine and Repair is contractor-operated. The existing locations are shoe shine stands at the Rayburn-Capitol Subway and inside the Rayburn Barbershop (2023). Repair services are completed at the contractor’s facility with drop off points at the current shoe shine locations
