The ARM Center for Library Science requires access to an electronic tax resourcet that includes international, U.S. federal and state tax materials. To reduce the administrative burden of re-competing the purchase every year, the program office requests that the new award include one (1) base year and four (4) option years for fifty (50) accounts. It is essential that the ARM Center for Library Science research librarians and Strategic Issues Mission Team have access to an electronic tax resource so that they can stay informedabout industry trends, publications, and events regarding international as well as U.S. federal, state, and tax policy. Moreover, the electronic tax resource subscription will assist GAO in completing congressionally requested analyses that examine U.S. federal, state, as well as international tax policy; including their effects on federal government entities such as the Internal Revenue Service, Congress and other governmental bodies involved in the formulation and implementation of tax policy.
