This requirement will provide Waste and Recycling Services for the Denver Federal Center. The Contractor shall collect and transport all solid waste, recyclable material, organic waste and electronic waste (Ewaste) materials from the Denver Federal Center. The contract consists of two major functional areas: Standard and Above Standard services. The Contractor shall deliver a waste management program that complies with federal, state, and local solid waste and recycling mandates and aims to achieve a minimum fifty percent (by weight) waste diversion rate. Recycling, composting, and other alternatives to landfills and incineration are the preferred methods for disposal of solid waste. All solid waste and recycle collected as a requirement of this contract shall be removed from the premises and transported to a solid waste disposal facility that has been certified by the appropriate state agency responsible for solid waste and recycle management or by the EPA. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed-price contract for a one-year base, with four one-year options. The contractor will have a transition period tentatively starting February 1 ,2022 to April 30, 2022, at no cost to the Government, with actual performance period tentatively commencing on or about May 1, 2022. Information Requested: Contractors capable of performing as a prime contractor that meets the requirements stated above are encouraged to submit capability statements no more than five pages in length. Capability statements must include the following information. 1. Name, address, business size. 2. Company status: *Company size and applicable socioeconomic status 3. Affiliate information: parent company, joint venture partners, and potential teaming partners. 4. Provide summaries for one to three similar projects (as described above) with project size and scope that demonstrate the small business firm's past experience. 5. Demonstrate how you will be able to satisfy FAR 52.219-14 Limitations on Subcontracting 6. Any Areas of question or concern in the attached PWS. Interested firms having the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements are encouraged to submit responses addressing each of the criteria (1-6) as stated above.
