The purpose of this project is to replace the handrails on the south entrance and plaza of the Charles Evans Whittaker Courthouse located at 400 E 9th St., Kansas City, MO 64106. The new handrails will comply with all applicable codes and regulations including ABAAS. The handrail integral lighting will be upgraded to LED lighting. This work will also affect the ramp. The cross slopes currently are installed incorrectly.
