The BLM requires new carpet and cove base installed in an area of their 4th Floor Offices known as Section 930, an area of approximately 11,500 square feet. This installation will require the removal and reinstallation of systems furniture, storage cabinets, tables, bookcases, boxes, etc. to provide new carpet and cove base to area. It will also require contractor to install carpet to ensure access to the existing floor outlets. Please refer to the attached Statement of Work & Related Documents for additional information. GSA is establishing a Mandatory Site Visit to allow vendors the opportunity to view the designated work area; this RFQ will be amended to provide the specific date and time for the walkthrough. Note that this walkthrough will be Mandatory and any quote from a vendor that did not attend a walkthrough will not be considered. Quotes will be evaluated based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). In order to be considered Technically Acceptable quotes must meet the walkthrough requirement, include Two (2) Past Performance references and vendors must have an active SAM registration with No Exclusions and be able to meet HSPD-12 Security Requirements. **Amendment #1 - 3/15/22 - The established date for the Mandatory Site Visit is Thursday, March 24th @ 2:00PM AKDT/3:00PM PST. Incorporate the current DOL Service Contract Act Wage Determination for Anchorage, AK, REV 15, dated 3/15/2022 2. Incorporate applicable Purchase Order contract clauses 3. Incorporate the revised final Statement of Work 4. The RFQ is extended to Friday, April 7th @ 5:00pm PST 5. Incorporate the following formal Questions & Answers resulting from the Mandatory Site Visit: Q1. Is there a wage determination for this project? If so, does it fall under the SCA or DBA? A1. Yes, this project is subject to the Services Contract Act. The current WD is uploaded with this amendment. Q2. Will the contractor have access to the elevator for use? A2. Yes, the freight elevator is available for use. Q3. Will there be an area to place a dumpster on site? A3. This is addressed is section 2.1.3 of the Statement of Work. Q4. Will there be an area to store materials and equipment? A4. Yes. Carpet to be delivered no more than (7) calendar days prior to the start of work. See section 2.1.5 of the Statement of Work.
