The current hardware has expired and replacements are required to support the database transactions that support the GSA eRulemaking program. The eRulemaking Program fulfills an essential government service identified in the E-Government Act of 2002 and currently supports 39 Federal agencies. The eRulemaking PMO first deployed the Federal Docket Management System (FDMS) in September, 2005. Since transitioning to GSA, GSA IT kicked off redeveloping FDMS to provide continuity of service to the programs of its federal customers.
