Under this requirement, the contractor will be required to provide in-person, confidential, non-medical counseling (NMC) services in support of the MFLC program, utilizing a combination of traditional counseling sessions (e.g. conducted in an office setting initiated by appointment), and/or non-traditional “walk around” sessions initiated/or conducted with eligible adult, children and youth participants nearest to where eligible participants live and socialize in locations both within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). This counseling is supportive in nature and addresses issues such as: life skills; improving relationships at home and at work; stress management and adjustment issues, such as those related to returning from deployment, marital problems, parenting, fear, grief and loss.
