Description The General Services Administration, Public Building Service is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to furnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment, supplies and supervision for construction services, including required shop-drawings, line diagrams and load calculations for a turnkey project delivery. The work to be performed includes the furnishing of all labor, supervision, equipment, and material (unless otherwise noted) of all work requested for replacing Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning equipment and venting which is located in and around the Marble Hall in the U.S. Custom House, located at 423 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70130. History: Current noise levels in the Marble Hall of the US Custom House in New Orleans, LA caused by the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system are too loud rendering the function of the space unusable. The General Services Administration (GSA) requested detailed Construction Design Drawings and Specifications of a realistic and appropriate solution of a system to achieve noise levels of the operating HVAC system to reach acceptable climate control and acoustic levels in accordance PBS P-100 - Facilities Standards for the Public Buildings Service, 2010 version. In accordance with FAR 36.204, disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the construction cost of magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 and the current size standard is $15 Million. It is anticipated that this project will take approximately 245 calendar days to complete. In responding to this sources sought synopsis, please indicate your: (1) interest as a prime contractor, teaming partner, joint venture, and indicate (2) whether or not your company is a 8(a), Hub Zone, Women Owned Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business or Small Business, . (3) Brief description of your firms past experience in Construction trades, (4) overall Bonding Capacity, and (5) company information (name, point of contact phone number/email). In response to this notice please provide your information on the Interested Vendors tab on this notice or submit the requested information to the point of contact listed on this notice via e-mail only. No phone calls or faxes expressing interest will be accepted. Any contract award resulting from this procurement will be based on a source selection employing a "Best Value Concept" methodology. Additionally, this project may be revised or canceled at any time during the sources sought synopsis, solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and final award. The solicitation will be available on or about June 4, 2019.
