The Government anticipates selling such firearms, classified under FSC 1005, to Federal Firearms Licensees, including OEMs, through negotiated sales or term sales contracts. The RFI seeks industry input on valuation, inspection, firearm types, National Firearms Act items, shipping/transportation from disparate locations across the continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, D.C., and U.S. territories, transaction structures, regulatory requirements, and experience with government/law enforcement, seized/forfeited, historical/collectible firearms, and ammunition. Questions or comments on the RFI content are due by 10:00 a.m. Central Time on September 28, 2026, and verbal questions will not be accepted. This is not an RFP or RFQ, and GSA has not committed to selling any items or awarding a contract; respondents bear their own response costs.
