McNamara Federal Building, Parking Garage & Parking Lot 477 Michigan Ave., Detroit, MI 48226 – Net Cleaning area 996,244 sq ft Location 2: Theodore Levin US Courthouse 231 W. Lafayette Blvd. Detroit, MI 48226 – Net Cleaning area 462,892 sq ft Location 3: US Customs Cargo Inspection Facility 2810 W. Fort Street Detroit, MI 48216 – Net Cleaning area 38,363 sq ft Location 4: Rosa Parks Federal Building & Garage 333 Mt. Elliot Detroit, MI 48207 – Net Cleaning area 39,177 sq ft The current contract expires on April 30, 2022. This acquisition will be a competitive 8(a) Set-Aside. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 561720. The performance period for Janitorial and Related Services is scheduled to commence on May 1, 2022, for a one-year base period, ending April 30, 2023. There are four (4) one year option periods that may be exercised as follows: Option Year 1: 05/01/2023 - 04/30/2024 Option Year 2: 05/01/2024 – 04/30/2025 Option Year 3: 05/01/2025 – 04/30/2026 Option Year 4: 05/01/2026 – 04/30/2027????? The Contractor shall provide the management, supervision, manpower, equipment and supplies necessary to provide Custodial services (Interior/Exterior), Trash Removal, Recycling, Window Washing, Integrated Pest Management, Grounds Maintenance & Snow Removal. This is a negotiated, firm fixed price procurement; there will NOT be a public bid opening. Proposals will be opened privately. The solicitation will be available on or about November 1, 2021, the actual date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as SAM.gov. SAM.gov is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. To obtain information from SAM.gov, you will first be required to register in SAM. Registration in the Sam websites is required to download solicitation documents and is used to validate vendor identity. The Contractor shall provide the management, supervision, manpower, equipment and supplies necessary to provide custodial and related services as described herein. Custodial services (Interior/Exterior) include trash removal, recycling, window washing, integrated pest management, grounds maintenance and snow removal. Above standard services include, but are not limited to: carpet cleaning by extraction, strip and apply floor finish, stripping and sealing, window washing interior and exterior sides of the exterior windows, wash blinds and coverings, pressure washing and steam cleaning, scrub and rinse loading docks, platforms, trash rooms, garage ramps and driveways, tree thinning, planting Government furnished trees and plants, snow removal services for removing snow and ice, and snow removal services for removing snow and ice. The Contractor shall be responsible for performing all work under this contract in accordance with all Federal, State, County, City laws and codes, and follow the more stringent of them. In addition to compliance with these laws, the Contractor shall follow all applicable standard industry practices including, but not limited to: Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).
