All interested offerors are requested to review and submit the sources sought information form, 1pg. Attached. SUMMARY The work to be performed under this Design-Build contract involves repairs to correct identified water intrusion points at the plaza level of Charles E. Bennett Federal Building, in Jacksonville, Florida. A comprehensive study was performed in December 2015, to identify water intrusion points and to provide conceptual design solutions to correct the problem(s). Repairs shall be designed and performed in general accordance to the recommended conceptual design solution, as identified in the study’s final report (December 23, 2015) as “Option 3R” (Option 3, revised). [Report is included as an atchmnt] Base bid includes Option 3R as outlined in the attached TTV Survey and generally consists of: removing the exterior plaza paver system installation of a liquid membrane coating on existing deck membrane installation of structural concrete to full height of existing concrete perimeter beams (approximately four inches in depth) tapered to permit proper drainage away from structure installation of new roof drains at 30ft intervals to tie into existing drain system replacement of full-height first-floor windows with a resized bottom lite to allow for the installation of a 12 inch concrete curb to support the window assembly above the potential water levels on the plaza deck. Option #1, if executed, includes the replacement of the sealant system of the buildings windows, and of the building’s precast concrete panels shall be designed and performed. Include cleaning of all exterior brick, concrete, and stone surfaces, stairs, and sidewalks. Include final window washing.
