It is for informational purposes only to be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. This posting WILL NOT RESULT IN A CONTRACT AWARD. The U.S. General Services Administration - Public Buildings Service- Region 4 - Acquisition Management Division-has been tasked to solicit for and award a project to include the removal of the existing A/C unit in the 6th Floor LAN room and replace it with a new A/C unit for the Department of Housing and Urban Development (see attached SOW) in Miami, FL. Proposed project will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to solicit interest, capabilities and qulaifications of Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women Owned, Hubzone to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price contract. The type of solicitation to be issued will depend upon the repsonses to this sources sought synopsis. REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION HVAC and Duct work Duration of project is 30 calendar days North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code appliicable to this acquisition is 236220. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Experience on similar projects is required for submitting a response under the sources sought. Similar is defined as new construction, repair, and alteration, modernization of federally owned or federally leased government buildings and/or courthouses.
