Purpose: The intent of this project is to: Replace existing malfunctioning fire alarm panel components on various floors in Matthew J Perry Courthouse. Any interruption of the existing office operations or daily operation must be minimized. 10. Description of Work: Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, tools, equipment and supervision to accomplish tasks as outlined in this SOW and all contract documents. 10.1 Demolition: In locations identified below, the contractor shall perform the following in Matthew J Perry Courthouse: 10.1.1 Room L419 - Remove existing Notifier 2020 fire alarm panel and three (3) each Notifier amplifiers. 10.1.2 Room 1103 - Remove existing three (3) each Notifier amplifiers. 10.1.3 Room 2220 - Remove existing three (3) each Notifier amplifiers. 10.1.4 Room 3220 - Remove existing three (3) each Notifier amplifiers. 10.1.5 Penthouse - Remove existing two (2) each Notifier amplifiers. 10.2 Renovation: In locations identified below, the contractor shall perform the following in Matthew J Perry Courthouse: 10.2.1 Room L419 - Provide and install new fire alarm control panel. New panel shall be compatible with existing field devices installed throughout the building and have sufficient capacity. 10.2.2 Room 1103 - Provide and install three (3) each new fire alarm amplifiers. New amplifiers shall be compatible with existing field devices installed throughout the building. 10.2.3 Room 2220 - Provide and install three (3) each new fire alarm amplifiers. New amplifiers shall be compatible with existing field devices installed throughout the building. 10.2.4 Room 3220 - Provide and install three (3) each new fire alarm amplifiers. New amplifiers shall be compatible with existing field devices installed throughout the building. 10.2.5 Penthouse - Provide and install two (2) each new fire alarm amplifiers. New amplifiers shall be compatible with existing field devices installed throughout the building. 10.2.6 Provide and program all new panels. Main fire alarm panel shall have bypass switches to disable the following: 1) Air handling unit shutdowns 2) Elevator recalls 3) Audio/visual notification circuits 4) Smoke pressurization fans and 5) Secure door lock release. Two hard copies of final programming points list and an electronic copy of the final programming points list in PDF format shall be provided to GSA. 10.2.7 Clean up area and remove trash from site.
