This notice is intended strictly for market research purposes. The purpose of this sources sought is to determine the interest and capability of potential qualified Small Business Administration (SBA) certified: HUBZone Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business(SDVOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned (EDWOSB), and 8(a) small business firms certified under North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) NAICS 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors. The applicable size standard for this NAICS code is $15 Million. The magnitude of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The General Services Administration (GSA) Region 10/Northwest Arctic Region is seeking sources capable of replacing a chiller in tight mechanical room at Nakamura Courthouse (NCH) in Seattle, WA. This project requires design and construction for the addition of one variable-speed-compressor jockey-chiller to satisfy the shoulder season and early morning cooling loads of the building. The work shall be performed at the Nakamura Courthouse (NCH) in Seattle, WA. Interested sources are requested to submit via email delineating qualifications, capabilities, and attached Industry Outreach SS Questionnaire. Sources must specifically identify interest in a requirement of this nature, sufficiently demonstrate the capability to perform these services and must provide detailed experience and qualifications in all previous work pertinent to an effort similar in size and scope to this requirement, specifically experience with design and installation of heavy chiller equipment. Please include your business size and small business classifications with your submittal. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no contract will be awarded off of this notice. No solicitation or specifications are available at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender.
