GSA seeks to expand the food options available at D’Amato Courthouse in Central Islip, New York, to include the options listed below. Please tell us if your company would be interested and able to provide these options. GSA also welcomes any feedback including suggestions for additional items not listed, and whether your company is not willing or able to provide any of the listed options. Your input may be used for refining the Government’s requirement for food services at this facility. ***** Food Options Sought (check all that your company would be interested in providing): ___Made-to-order hot food; ___From a grill and a fryer station for breakfast; ___From a grill and a fryer station for lunch; ___Range of food prepared on premises; ___Soups; ___Salads; ___Made-to-order sandwiches; ___Rotating “Specials”; ___“Build-your-own” options; ___Made-to-order pick-up or in-building-delivery service; ___Limited line of prepared hot vegetables and entrees each day. Additional items/comments (attach additional pages if necessary): Note: All On-Site Grill service and food service in general, requires sanitation inspections, on-site food preparation, service staff sufficient to service the level of food offerings and an on-site manager. ***** GSA is interested in awarding a Revocable License for a two (2) year period with three additional two (2) year option periods. The D’Amato Courthouse is approximately 642,227 RSF, the estimated average daily occupancy is approximately 300 (combined) occupants and visitors, and the desired operating hours are 7 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday (excluding Federal Holidays). There is currently an equipped working kitchen providing work, storage and serving spaces, and an adjoining shared seating area of approx 60 seats, available for use. An existing Randolph Sheppard Program Micromart and vending operation is present which will remain and operate 24/7. This MicroMart provides pre-packaged and frozen foods, soda, water and vended coffee services. There is no charge for rent, utilities or use of the kitchen facilities. Use of the kitchen is restricted to food preparation and sales for building related purposes only. Government-owned equipment is maintained by the Government. All operator employees must pass security clearance requirements and satisfy all applicable FDA and Food Codes. A sample Statement of Work for Food Services is attached and is not a final copy for the future solicitation. A list of the included kitchen equipment is attached to the Statement of Work. GSA has scheduled a walk-through of the facility for June 7, 2023 beginning at 11:30 AM (one week from the Expression of Interest close date); if interested in attending this walk-through, please email your company’s name and contact information to kathleen.rumell@gsa.gov no later than 12 noon Monday, June 5th, 2023.
