GSA is interested in idetifying sources that are capable of providing, for lease or for sale, the following cryogenic tank containers: 20' portable T-75, 17.2 - 20 bar Liquid Oxygen (LOX) tanks that will be regularly transported, not stored statically. These containers will be used to store and to ship liquid oxygen between locations in California and Hawaii to augment current liquid oxygen production for use in treating COVID 19 patients in hospitals. In responding to this sources sought notice, interested vendors are asked to provide the following information: 1. Availability of cryogenic tank containers capable of storing and shipping LOX. GSA is hopeful that a minimum of 5 tanks can be sourced, and optimistic that as many as 10 tanks are available. 2. Timeframe that tanks can be delivered to site in Etiwanda, CA 3. Potential problems or issues/risk that GSA should consider with respect to leased tanks being filled in CA, shipped via truck and ship to HI, then returned empty to CA to be re-filled and re-shipped. This is not a request for quotes, proposals, or an invitation for bids, and no contract will be awarded in response to any submitted information received. GSA would appreciate responses at the earliest convenience possible -- the sources sought reponses will be used to help plan and execute a critical project to assist with COVID 19 treatment.
