Hello ASTRO Community, THIS IS A DRAFT SOLICITATION ONLY. This draft solicitation is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This draft solicitation does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, FEDSIM is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondees are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this draft solicitation; all costs associated with responding to this draft solicitation will be solely at the interested party’s expense. Not responding to this draft solicitation does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on www.beta.sam.gov. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The FEDSIM organization within the Assisted Acquisition Service Organization of GSA’s Federal Acquisition Service has been commissioned by client organizations to establish a multiple award IDIQ contract program to support existing and future requirements. The program is code-named ASTRO. As part of our market research efforts, the ASTRO program released four previous RFIs. We wish to thank those interested parties who participated in providing information and feedback, as it has been tremendously helpful in the development of these documents. All interested parties are encouraged to join the ASTRO Interact Community. The ASTRO Interact page WILL BE THE PRIMARY COMMUNICATION MEDIUM until when and if a formal solicitation is released. We want to emphasize that these documents are truly in “draft” form and are subject to change. There are some attachments that have not yet been provided that will be provided in the upcoming days. Industry feedback and internal review and vetting could potentially change many aspects of the documents. We welcome your feedback and encourage you to sign up for an ASTRO Due Diligence session.
