Notice of Intent to Lease Space Using Other Than Full and Open Competition. The U.S. Government intends to award a succeeding lease using other than full and open competition for an existing lease for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration that is expiring in Unalaska, AK on September 30, 2022. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. The Government requires residential space yielding a minimum of 1,000 (ABOA) area and 0 parking spaces. The space must be located within the city limits of Unalaska, AK, be contiguous, and all services, supplies, and utilities must be included as part of the rental consideration. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 100-year flood plain. To submit a location for inspection, contact this office by July 11, 2020.
