The General Services Administration (GSA) currently leases 23,418 ABOA SF / 26,994 RSF of office space and forty-four (44) total parking at 380 Westminster Mall, 380 Westminster St, Providence, RI 02903 under lease number LRI04903 for the Bankruptcy Clerk, Bankruptcy Judge Courtrooms, Federal Highway Administration (FHA), Social Security Administration (SSA), U.S. Trustees, Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), and the (b)(7). The current lease expires on 9/30/2021. On 8/31/2021, the Parties executed Lease Amendment (LA) number 14, which provided for an unevaluated, one-time option where the Government may extend the lease term for an additional five (5) years. Approval is requested to exercise the lease renewal with the Lessor using other than full and open competition for continued occupancy at this leased location. The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under a lease in PROVIDENCE, RI, that will be expiring. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
