The U.S. Government is seeking approximately 2,384 ABOA square feet of office space in Charlotte, North Carolina, within a delineated area bounded by I-85, I-277, South Blvd, Westinghouse Blvd/Shopton Rd W, and the Catawba River. The lease term is ten years with a firm five-year period, plus up to two optional five-year extensions. Required space must be on one contiguous ground floor with direct access from a secure parking lot, and must meet fire safety, accessibility, seismic, sustainability, and floodplain standards. Estimated occupancy is November 1st, 2027. The Government will consider alternative space only if economically advantageous, factoring in relocation costs and telecommunications prohibitions under the FY19 NDAA.
