This sources sought synopsis serves as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in the requirement below. The purpose of this requirement is to replace the indoor generator at the Grand Portage Border Station. The existing main electrical service consists of a 1200 amp service at 240/120 volts. The existing generator has exceeded it's useful lifespan and needs to be replaced to provide backup power to the facility. Work shall include, but not limited, to the following: Remove existing indoor generator and associated equipment, wiring, and raceway. Excavate/Fill in area for generator placement. Furnish and install concrete generator pad/protective concrete bollards with cover. Furnish and install a diesel generator with a sub-base fuel tank. Furnish and install all necessary electrical components related to the generator. NAICS: 238290 Power generating equipment installation THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME.
