Provide answers to the questions asked during the onsite visit conducted on 27JULY2022. See attachments for Q&A document, picture and specifications. 2. Extend the RFQ due date from August 15, 2022 @ 12:00 EDT to August 29, 2022 12:00 EDT. No further changes to this solicitation have been made. This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the procurement and installation of a Robotic Laser De-Paint System with an option to purchase a 2nd Robotic Laser De-Paint System. The requirement includes delivery, accessories, installation, site preparation and building modification (after approval from Government POC has been received), testing/verification, training/familiarization, and warranty for the basic and second option system as applicable.The requiring activity is the United States Marine Corps (USMC), Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB), Production Plant Albany (PPA) at Albany, GA. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of FAR 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items along with Brand Name or Equal component purchase descriptions in accordance with section 888(a) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017 (Pub. L. 114-328), DFARS 213.501(a)(ii) - Special documentation requirements, which states the justification and approval addressed in FAR 13.501(a) is required in order to use brand name or equal descriptions or proprietary specifications and standards.
