Previously, a Brand Name Justification (BNJ) for a single award call order for the supply of various Brand Name Information Technology (IT) products for the of the U.S. Air Force, 480th ISRW at Langley AFB, VA was approved on August 17, 2022. The total value of the call order (including open market items) was $7,915,420.41. The products listed in paragraph three (3) of the justification were not originally identified as open market items until the final quotes were received because the identification of open market items was required as a part of the quote submission terms and conditions. Therefore, the open market items were only identified during the evaluation process and were not known at the time that the original BNJ was approved. The required IT products are germane to specific brand names and part numbers. No other like and/or similar products will meet the needs of the requesting activity. As a result, a call order was awarded against AVI SPL’s 2GIT BPA # 47QTCA21A002G(ultimate expiration date of March 22, 2041) Call order #47QSWC22F0188 (09/30/2022 – 09/29/2025).
