The purpose of this limited sources justification is to support award of a sole source bridge task order for continued support in providing official TMC services for the U.S. Air Force, Europe, Defense Travel Area 7 (DTA 7). Base Period of Performance: December 2, 2023 - May 31, 2024 Option 1 Period of Performance: June 1, 2024 - August 1, 2024 The required travel management company services are highly specialized and require familiarity with specific travel regulations and laws, including, the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), the Defense Travel Regulation (DTR), and local Business Rules developed by each site, as well as interfacing with DoD’s travel management system for end-to-end travel. Therefore, immediately during contract implementation, the TMC must have detailed knowledge of travel regulations and business rules to ensure traveler reservations are accurate, timely, and IAW with numerous policies and regulations. Due to new security requirements which caused a six month delay, the award of a five year task order was not possible prior to the current task order's end date of December 1, 2023.
