The General Services Administration (GSA), Office of Travel Transportation & Logistics (TTL/QM) and the Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Travel Management Office’s (DTMO)’s primary purpose is to obtain market research information of commercial capabilities to be used to further enhance the Government-wide TDY Lodging Solution in preparation for the upcoming re-compete, a new contract solution that includes a self-funding model inclusive of dynamic refund and fee structures that may be adjusted annually through the life of the contract. The refund and fee structure has not yet been established, but will be finalized and included as part of a final Request for Proposal (RFP). The secondary purpose is to collect information on commercial capabilities for the following areas of lodging: Strategic Meetings, Group Room, and Long Term Lodging Management. GSA TTL/QM has not determined a path forward for these additional areas of lodging at this time and any information collected will be used solely for market research.
