Consolidated Trailer Acquisition
GSA, on behalf of the U.S. Navy, is conducting market research and seeking industry feedback through a combined sources sought and draft RFP instructions/evaluation criteria notice. It is not a solicitation, and proposals are not being requested at this time. Input is sought on industry limitations, supply chain constraints, production capacity, pricing stability, and budgetary pricing. Feedback is also requested on draft solicitation mechanics, including the HTR-FRP methodology, virtual oral presentation parameters, and fleet transition structures, before the final RFP is released. The Navy has provided delivery forecasts and standardization requirements, but the final contract type (Requirements vs. IDIQ), ordering duration, and award structure will be determined based on the feedback received.
