The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is for Market Research purposes to identify, characterize the underground, non-coal mines in the United States that meet the Governments requirements. The mine(s) must support training events that may include include specialized, niche, Functional Defeat training at a facility that affords various Subterranean (SbT) Environments. The following minimum requirements must be met: Underground facility (UGF) with mega-city infrastructure, schoolhouse training and conference hosting capability; a minimum of 550,000 Square Feet (SF) of lighted; clean underground test and operational space; SbT space that affords extended autonomous vehicle/device development, testing, demonstration, and supports VIP events; loading dock and warehouse space for logistics support and storage; Specialized Entry; Full scale and quarter scale energetic testing; >5M SF of roadways that can be configured to support realistic complex training and exercises; facility must have electric, plumbing and sewage available throughout. Able to support Unconventional Methods of Entry and Full Dimension Defeat Equipment, Training and Support personnel and equipment support client Home Station Training and Proof of Concept/Validation at CTCs. Facility should support all domain Hard Target, Functional Defeat and SbT requirements. This RFI is NOT a solicitation for procurement or other acquisition proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this RFI or to otherwise pay for the information solicited
