This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (CSS) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only Request for Quote (RFQ), and quotations are being requested. This requirement will be awarded using OPEN- MARKET procedures in accordance with FAR Subpart 12, the acquisition of commercial items in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation, and award as prescribed in FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This is a Brand Name acquisition that is 100 % set-aside for small businesses. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561621 - Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths), and small business size standard is $22.0M. Offers are solicited only from small business under NAICS Code 561621. Offers received from concerns that are not small business concerns will be considered nonresponsive and will be rejected. Quoter shall be a small business in SAM.GOV under NAICS Code 561621 in order to be eligible for award. The contractor shall remove currently installed Intrusion Detection System (IDS) head end equipment, access control equipment, and associated cabling where it does not meet prescribed standards. A new IDS and associated sensors shall be installed and configured to support the configuration provided in Attachment 1. A new Access Control System and associated readers shall be installed to support the configuration provided in Attachment 1. Existing locking hardware, door position switches, and X10 locks with lock position sensors shall be reused if in working condition. Door position switches and lock position switches shall be connected to the ACS. All ACS and IDS cabling must be in electric metallic tube (EMT) conduit with compression fittings installed in accordance with NEC and ICD 705 requirements. Contractor is encouraged to leverage existing infrastructure to support these requirements. Removed equipment will remain with the customer.
