This Sources Sought\Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational purposes to locate highly qualified contractors capable of providing support similar to the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW). The General Services Administration (GSA) in conjunction with the United States Air Force Research Laboratory (USAF\AFRL) Wright Research Site Fairborn, Ohio is conducting market research and desires input from industry to assist in obtaining the required services. The information requested by this synopsis will be used within GSA to facilitate the decision making process and will not be disclosed outside of the agency and client agency. Please note: GSA will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this RFI. GSA proposes to award a sole source bridge contract in support of the current effort (SEEATTACHED DRAFT SOW) as an open market award. The award will be for a base period of 6months and two 3 month optional periods of performance with a magnitude from $500K to $2M. Thecompetitive follow-on award is likely to be an Open Market Contract or a Task Order under GSA'sProfessional Services Schedule (PSS) Contract. The period of performance of the follow-oncompetitive award is likely to be one 12 month base period with four 12 month optional periods ofperformance. The sole source bridge and the follow-on competitive award will likely be a Firm FixedPrice (FFP), Labor Hour (LH) or "hybrid type" contract\task order. GSA may or may not issue asecond Sources Sought\RFI to support the competitive follow-on award. If sufficient information forthis initial RFI is received, a second RFI would not be needed.
