The General Services Administration has a need to procure structural engineering design services for the entrance way at Jackson Place, 726 Jackson Place, Washington DC, 20006. This procurement was sole-sourced under the statutory authority 6.302-1-Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. No other offers were solicited due to the need of the structural drawings being classified and the firm's knowledge of the project since inception. To have another firm complete this work would be vastly more expensive as it would require duplication of the current drawings and very time consuming gathering all of the pertinent information from the customer agencies.
