THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INTEREST ONLY. NO AWARD WILL BE GENERATED FROM THIS NOTICE. Region 10 – Regional Office Building: New Furniture Installation The United States General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS), for the Northwest/Arctic Region (Region 10) is seeking interest within the commercial furniture industry, that would be interested in submitting proposals for this anticipated solicitation for Furniture and Installation Services for a highly visible project located at the future location of Region 10 PBS, Columbia Center, 1301A Tacoma, WA. The new location is leased space to be occupied by GSA Region 10 PBS. Description of the Project: Description of Services requested to include Furniture, and Installation. Scope Summary: Project includes procurement of new furniture and installation. Expected installation will start in September 2021 with a project completion date of October 2021. Scope includes approximately 57,341 RSF on multiple floors, 260 workstations, 7 private offices, plus conference and miscellaneous meeting rooms and various ancillary furniture. The following phased acquisition approach will be used- Phase 1 - Technical Qualifications, proposal evaluation Phase 2 - Qualified vendors to provide oral presentation & mock-up at the Auburn Regional Office Building Phase 3 - Pricing Anticipated Trades: Furniture delivery and installation crew. Anticipated Architectural/Engineering and other Disciplines: Highly experienced Designer, Project Manager. Anticipated Solicitation and Award: Example: The GSA/PBS Region 10 Project Team anticipates solicitation of the subject project in late February 2021, with potential award by March 31, 2021. Project Magnitude: Example: The order of magnitude contemplated for this project, inclusive of all services and costs is between $1,500,000 and $2,500,000. Response Information: The following information is requested in your response: (1) Identification, including name, address, phone number, email and DUNS number, and Business size. (2) Required experience to be considered as a viable source for the contemplated acquisition includes experience in delivering services during the design and installation. Projects of such a nature should be valued at $1 million to $3 million, and have been completed within the past five (5) years. The response should include, but is not limited to, a contract number, location, agency/owner, dollar value (inclusive of changes), contract type, project delivery method, a description of the work, including how it is similar to the contemplated procurement, and an owner point of contact to include an email address and telephone number. Work performed as a subcontractor shall not be considered as evidence of capability to succeed as a prime contractor. Please limit your response to no more than three (3) completed contracts which meet the criteria above. (3) Provide Product Specification Sheets representative of offerings from your firm. (4) Indicate whether your firm would submit a proposal in response to a Request for Proposal (RFP) consistent with these requirements. (5) Provide your firm’s current capabilities, regarding the trades, disciplines, and types of work identified in this Request for Interest (clearly identify which is self-performed or subcontracted). If subcontracted, identify the listing potential subconsultants/ subcontractors that your firm has used on past projects or that that your firm would submit to use for this project. (6) Provide your firm’s current capacity to perform the types of work identified in this Request for Interest, as well as availability. Discussions issues/concerns regarding obtaining subconsultants/ subcontractors, subcontractor competitors. Ensure to identify if your firm has capacity or other issues that would be resolved or would result in more favorable pricing if the award was made in April or May of 2021.
