Box 22010 709 W. 9th Street Juneau, AK 99802 This procurement is being solicited with a 12-month base period with four 1-year options. The estimated start date is September 1, 2019. This is firm fixed price procurement. The solicitation is issued as a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541690 with a size standard of $15 million, PSC H212. All socio-economic small businesses are encouraged to submit an offer. Performance-based contracting does apply to the procurement. The solicitation is posted as of June 20, 2019; the date for receipt of proposals is stated in the solicitation. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. * * * * * * * * * * DESCRIPTION OF WORK Under this procurement the contractor shall provide all resources needed to perform annual Firesafety Inspections for seven Daycares located within Region 10 at the following: Building Blocks Child Development Center-FEDERAL Auburn, WA Growing Years Child Development Center-FEDERAL Seattle, WA Green Tree Early Childhood Center- LEASED, Seattle, WA Joyful Noise EAST-FEDERAL, Portland, OR Joyful Noise Child Care Center, Inc.-LEASED Portland, OR Tundra Tykes Child Care Center-LEASED Anchorage, AK Gold Creek Child Care Center-FEDERAL, Juneau, AK The Firesafety inspections to be performed are to meet the current requirements of NFPA 101 for New Daycare Requirements; GSA PBS P100 and GSA PBS P140. The contractor will provide a written report for each Daycare Center and report all findings and recommendations within the body of the report in the format laid out in the GSA Form 3559 (revised in 2014). The RAC designation for each item identified for correction will be provided by the GSA Regional Fire Protection Engineer. The contractor shall plan, schedule, coordinate, and ensure effective and economical completion of all work and services specified in the contract. * * * * * * * * * * The current contractor is Dompke, John located in Huntington Beach, CA. The contract was awarded for $93,015.00 from August 1, 2016 through July 31, 2019. Because these specifications are performance based, it is the responsibility of the offeror to review the entire solicitation and base their proposal on this forthcoming solicitation.
